The College of Medicine and Health Sciences Students’ Association (COMHSSA) is the official
umbrella body representing all students within the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. It
exists to promote unity, academic excellence, professional development, and student welfare
while creating an environment where future healthcare professionals can thrive.
COMHSSA serves as a platform for leadership, collaboration, and service, ensuring that students
are not only academically prepared but also socially responsible and professionally equipped for
the demands of the healthcare sector.

Vision
The COHMSSA is being formed by the prestigious departments that make up the College of
Medicine and Health science, and as such the COMHSSA exist to harmonies the activities of the
various department; thus the Autonomy of each department is preserved.
Formation of COMHSSA!
COMHSSA was established to create a unified structure through which students of the various
departments within the College of Medicine and Health Sciences could be represented
collectively. The association was formed to strengthen communication between students, faculty,
and the college administration, while also fostering interdepartmental collaboration, mentorship,
and shared growth.
Since its formation, COMHSSA has continued to play a central role in organizing academic
programs, professional workshops, outreach initiatives, and social activities that enrich student
life and prepare members for impactful careers in healthcare.
